On Sunday 26 January 2025, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, attended a Private Welcome Ceremony. 

Then the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guest of Mr John Foreman AM, Chair, attended the National Flag Raising and Citizenship Ceremony in Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Later, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett hosted a Citizenship Ceremony in Sydney.
