Sydney, New South Wales; Melbourne, Victoria

On Wednesday 29 January 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Melbourne, Victoria. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Peggy O’Neal AO, Chancellor, visited the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Steven Persson, Chief Executive Officer, visited The Big Issue Head Office and met with staff and volunteers. 

In the evening, the Governor-General attended dinner with Ms Aishwarya Kansakar, Victorian Young Australian of the Year 2025.
