On Monday 17 February 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Brother Thomas Oliver Pickett AM, Founder, visited the Wheelchairs for Kids Factory.  

Then, the Governor-General, met with Ian and Dianne Haggerty, founders of Natural Intelligence Farming and 2025 Australians of the Year for Western Australia.   

Later, the Governor-General, travelled from Perth, Western Australia to Geraldton, Western Australia.   

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Julie Clark, visited the HMAS Sydney II Memorial.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Mayor Jerry Clune, attended a community afternoon tea.  

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Wayne McDonald, attended a welcoming ceremony and dinner at Bundiyarra Aboriginal Community Aboriginal Corporation.
