On Tuesday 18 March 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met with students and teachers from Woodleigh School, Frankston, as they undertook a tour of Government House. 

Then, the Governor-General as Patron, and guest of Patricia O’Donovan, Chief Executive Officer, Playgroup Australia, attended a 'Paint and Play' event as part of National Playgroup Week. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of John Landos, Chair, Goodwin Ainslie Residents Liaison Committee, attended a luncheon at Goodwin Retirement Village. 

Later, the Governor-General as Patron, hosted an afternoon tea for Juvenile Arthritis Foundation Australia.
