On Friday 4 April 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, hosted a morning tea for the Gidget Foundation Australia. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Maud Page, Director, Art Gallery of New South Wales, attended the ARTEXPRESS 2025 Exhibition. 

Later, the Governor-General, as Patron, and guest of Dr Richard Dammery, Chair, The Australian Ballet, attended the performance of Nijinksy.
