On Wednesday 27 November 2019, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Ms Vicki Stravinski, Principal, visited East Adelaide School and met with the students and staff.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a morning tea for South Australian-based Order of Australia recipients and members.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Fiona Dunstan, Acting Director Operations, visited the South Australian Country Fire Service Headquarters.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Pat Rix, CEO, visited the Tutti Choir in North Brighton.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled to Government House in Canberra.
