On Friday 29 November 2019, Their Excellencies, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr David Hanzl, Captain, visited the Carwoola Rural Fire Brigade in Carwoola, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Colonel Michael Miller RFD, Official Secretary to the Governor of New South Wales, at Government House, Canberra.
