On Wednesday 12 February 2020, at Government House, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) met with the Honourable Scott Morrison MP, Prime Minister of Australia, for breakfast.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley received Ms Philippa O'Donnell, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr Conor O’Bryan, Non-Executive Director, Australian Black and White Stories.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Major General Michael Smith AO (Retd), Chairman, Gallipoli Scholarship Fund;
Mr Joe North, Chief Executive Officer and Mr Gary Sutcliffe, Strategic Engagement Manager, Lockheed Martin.

Then, the Governor-General received Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin AC (Retd).

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Mr Trevor Peacock, Director, Europe and Latin America Division.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Mr Demetris Syllouris, President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, Her Excellency Mrs Martha Mavormmati, High Commissioner for Cyprus, and Members of the House of Representatives - Parliament Of Cyprus.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Mrs Hurley hosted an Investiture Ceremony for the Honourable Kevin Rudd AC.
