On Friday 8 May 2020, Their Excellencies, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, held a video conference with the Adventure and Intensive Diversion Program participants of the Canberra PCYC.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received a video call from His Excellency Pastor Obed Moses Tallis, President of the Republic of Vanuatu, and First Lady Mrs Estella Moses.

Later, the Governor-General received a phone call from the Honourable Scott Morrison MP, Prime Minister of Australia.
