On Wednesday 12 June 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, participated in a RAAF Hot Air Balloon flight at Yarralumla.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Brigadier Allison Creagh CSC, Team Manager, visited the ADF King's Cup Team ahead of the Henley Peace Regatta at the Australian Defence Force Academy Boat Shed, Yarralumla.

Later, the Governor-General met with students from Pleasant Heights Public School, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
