On Tuesday 11 June 2019, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Letters of Credence from His Excellency Dr Ruslan Esin, accrediting him as the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus.

Afterwards, Lady Cosgrove, as guest speaker, and the Governor-General, as guests of Major General Michael Crane DSC and Bar AM (Retd), Chair, ACT Order of Australia Association, attended the ACT Branch of the Order of Australia Association's 2019 Queen's Birthday Luncheon, at The Royal Canberra Golf Club, Yarralumla.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for former staff of the Office of the Official Secretary to the Governor-General.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from St Marks Anglican School, Perth, Western Australia, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
