On Thursday 16 May 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of Mr Glenn Keys AO, Board Director, Invictus Games Sydney 2018, attended an Invictus Games lunch at Pialligo Estate, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Council of Australia at Government House, Canberra.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Samuel Gilbert Public School, Castle Hill, NSW, and Mentone Grammar School, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
