On Wednesday 15 May 2019, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Letters of Credence from His Excellency Mr Rodrigo Coronel Kinloch, accrediting him as the Non-Resident Ambassador for Nicaragua.

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted a lunch for the North Asian Heads of Mission.

Later, the Governor-General met with students from Fahan School, Lower Sandy Bay, TAS; Heritage College, Narre Warren, VIC; and Albury Public School, NSW, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
