On Tuesday 7 May 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Lady Cosgrove, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for members of Human Nature – Mr Toby Allen, Mr Phil Burton, Mr Andrew Tierney and Mr Michael Tierney – at Government House.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Dr Martin Parkinson AC PSM, Secretary, visited the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

Later, the Governor-General met with students from St Mary’s Primary School, VIC, and St Mary’s Coptic Orthodox College, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra
