On Thursday 14 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, participated in the Channel 7 Sunrise Weather cross at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove conducted a television interview with the ABC in preparation for Government House Open Day.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Kempsey Adventist School, NSW; Scotch College, VIC; and St Mary’s Primary School, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
