On Tuesday 26 February 2019 the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Air Vice Marshal Steve Roberton DSC AM, Air Commander Australia, attended the 2019 Australian International Air Show.

As part of the visit, Their Excellencies met with service personnel from the ADF, visited the Drone and UAV arena, inspected the ADF’s static displays and attended the Australian International Aerospace and Defence Exposition.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Air Marshal Leo Davies AO CSC, Chief of Air Force, viewed the aerial display at the 2019 Australian International Air Show.
