On Tuesday 19 February 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Professor Anthony Koutoulis, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, visited the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture, at the University of Tasmania’s Sandy Bay campus, in Hobart.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, met with Her Excellency Professor The Honourable Kate Warner AC, and Mr Richard Warner, at Government House.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Lieutenant Colonel Darryl Bridgeman, Senior ADF Officer Tasmania, met with ADF members and staff at Angelsea Barracks.

Then, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Rear Admiral Steve Gilmore AM CSC (Retd), Strategic Advisor – Maritime, Department of State Growth, met with staff at both Incat Tasmania and Liferaft Systems Australia, in Derwent Park.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a reception for Tasmanian-based patronages and Order of Australia recipients.
