On Tuesday 20 November 2018, in Brisbane, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended a ceremony where the Governor-General presented a Commendation for Brave Conduct to Inspector Robert Graham, as guests of Inspector Nyree Whelan, Queensland Police.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron and Commander-In-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of LTCOL Steven Cleggett, Officer Commanding, 7th Combat Service Support Battalion, attended the official opening of the 106th Workshop, at Gallipoli Barracks Enoggera.

Later, the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of AIRCDRE Ken Robinson, Senior Australian Defence Force Officer, Royal Australian Air Force Base (RAAF) Base Amberley, visited 82 Wing and 86 Wing elements, and attended an afternoon tea with ADF personnel at RAAF Base Amberley.
