On Saturday 30 June 2018, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended a Program Briefing with His Excellency Mr Brendan Berne, Ambassador to the Republic of France, at the Australian Embassy, Paris.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove welcomed Mr Mark and Mrs Julie Wallace and participants completing a bicycle ride from London to Paris in memory of Sara Zelenak (killed in the 2017 London Bridge terrorist attacks), at the Promenade des Australiens.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a morning tea with the family of the late Sara Zelenak and participants completing a bicycle ride from London to Paris in memory of her, at the Australian Embassy.
