On Thursday 3 May 2018, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted Investiture Ceremonies for Order of Australia honours and bravery decorations.

Afterwards, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp, Group Captain Karon Millett ADC, at the departure from Australia of the President of the French Republic, His Excellency Mr Emmanuel Macron.

Earlier, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General met with students from Williamstown North Primary School, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
