On Tuesday 10 April 2018, at Darwin International Airport, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) was represented by Mr Mark Fraser LVO OAM, Official Secretary to the Governor-General, for the departure from Australia of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.

Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp, Group Captain Amanda Dines ADC for the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Nauru, His Excellency Baron Divavesi Waqa and Lady Louisa Waqa.

Afterwards, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp, Group Captain Simon Sauer ADC for the departure from Australia of the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea, His Excellency Sir Bob Dofeng Dadae GCMG and Lady Hannah Dadae.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Channel Christian School, TAS, Belair Primary School, SA, and Aldgate Primary School, SA, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.
