Proclamation; Welcome ceremony; Meeting with the President of the French Republic; International Solar Alliance Leader’s Dinner

On Saturday 10 March 2018, at RAAF base Darwin, the Governor-General His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove met with the Administrator of the Northern Territory, Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AM and Mr Craig O’Halloran.

Afterwards, following the departure of the Governor-General from Australia on an Official Visit to the Republic of India, the proclamation assuming the Administration of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia was signed by the Governor of Queensland, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC.

In the afternoon, at Palam Air Force Station, New Delhi, India, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove were welcomed by the High Commissioner to the Republic of India, Her Excellency Harinder Sidhu.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President of the Republic of India, His Excellency the Honourable Ram Nath Kovind, attended the International Solar Alliance Leader’s Dinner.

Later, at Rashtrapati Bhavan Palace, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, met with the President of the French Republic, His Excellency Mr Emmanuel Macron.
