On Monday 20 November 2017, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove hosted a morning tea for Cystic Fibrosis Australia.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Lady Cosgrove hosted an investiture ceremony, at which the Governor-General invested Mr Michael Crouch AC, as a Companion of the Order of Australia in the General Division, ‘for eminent service to the community through philanthropic contributions to youth, cultural, medical research and health care organisations, to business in the areas of manufacturing and international trade, and as a supporter of innovation and higher education’.
Afterwards, at Government House, Sydney, as guests of His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor of New South Wales, the Governor-General attended a Vice-Regal meeting of the State Governors and the Administrator of the Northern Territory.
In the evening, at Government House, Sydney, as guests of His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor of New South Wales, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a Vice-Regal dinner with the State Governors and the Administrator of the Northern Territory.
