Visiting Government House

Government House Open Day

The Government House Open Day is Saturday 15 March from 10am-2pm.

Entry is free and there is parking available on Dunrossil Drive.

At the Open Day you will have the opportunity to tour the house, join a guided walking tour of the grounds (or explore yourself!) or just simply enjoy a picnic on a beautiful Canberra spring day.

National institutions and organisations will have displays, including:

• the Royal Australian Mint
• Questacon
• National Library of Australia
• National Portrait Gallery 
• The Order of Australia Association
• The Bravery Association of Australia
• Australia Post.

Local food vendors will be on site or you can bring your own food.

Please note that pets (other than service animals) are not permitted.
