National Simultaneous Storytime

The Governor-General and Mrs Hurley read 'Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas' to schoolchildren around the country as part of National Simultaneous Storytime.

Organised by the Australian Library and Information Association, the annual event is all about getting children reading and enjoying books.

After reading the fantastic story by Lucinda Gifford, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley answered questions submitted by students around the country.
