The Australian Active Service Medal 1945-1975 was instituted for the purpose of according recognition to those who rendered service in warlike operations between 1945 and 1975. |
The Australian Active Service Medal 1945-1975 recognises the service of members of the Defence Force and certain other persons in specified warlike operations from 3 September 1945 to 13 February 1975.
