Constitution of the Order of Australia (Number of Appointments in the General Division) Ordinance 2019
I, GENERAL THE HONOURABLE SIR PETER COSGROVE AK MC (Ret’d), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting under section 30A of the Constitution of the Order of Australia, revoke the Constitution of the Order of Australia (Number of Appointments in the General Division) Ordinance 2018 made on 19 April 2018, and make the following ordinance.

NAME
1 This Ordinance is the Constitution of the Order of Australia (Number of Appointments in the General Division) Ordinance 2019.
COMMENCEMENT
2 (1) Each provision of this Ordinance specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 This Ordinance is made under section 30A of the Constitution of the Order of Australia.
DEFINITIONS
4 In this Ordinance: Constitution means the Constitution of the Order of Australia.

For the purposes of section 14 of the Constitution, the number of persons is 35.
(2) Officers
For the purposes of section 14 of the Constitution, the number of persons is 140.
(3) Members
For the purposes of section 14 of the Constitution, the number of persons is 605.
