On Tuesday 2 January 2007 at Elmore, Victoria, Their Excellencies, the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC and Mrs Marlena Jeffery attended the 21st Australian Scout Jamboree: Get in the Game, at which the Governor-General, as Chief Scout of Australia, officially opened the Jamboree, first international event in the Centenary of Scouting.
