On Monday 10 September 2012, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted an award ceremony for the Australian Veterans’ Children Assistance Trust, at which the Governor-General, as Patron, presented the awards.

On Sunday 9 September 2012, at the Congregational Church, Manly, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, attended a service celebrating the 150th anniversary of the church. Afterwards, at Admiralty House, the Governor-General received the Founder of the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital, Dr Catherine Hamlin AC.

The Governor-General welcomed members of the public to Admiralty House, Sydney, during the annual Australiana Fund Open Day.

On Saturday 8 September 2012, at the Tattersall’s Club, Brisbane, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Queensland University Musical Society Centenary Reunion dinner.
