On Friday 10 July 2015, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove hosted a morning tea for Assistance Dogs Australia.

Afterwards, at Redfern, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Interim Chief Executive Officer, National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, Mr Michael Dillon, attended the NAIDOC Inner City Family and Sports Day.

On Tuesday 7 July 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received the High Commissioner to Malaysia, Mr Rod Smith PSM.

Then, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a farewell lunch for the Regimental Sergeant Major - Army, Warrant Officer David Ashley AM. Guests included: Mrs Jenny Ashley; Warrant Officer Martin Holzberger AM CSC and Mrs Cathy Holzberger; and Warrant Officer Mark Pentreath CSM and Ms Rebecca Kubitzky.

On Monday 6 July 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received representatives from The Gideons International in Australia, National President, Mr David Sutherland; the International Trustee, Mr Trevor Monson; and the National President of the Women’s Arm, Mrs Jane Perry.

Later, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Netherlands, the Honourable Dr Brett Mason.

On Sunday 5 July 2015, on board HMAS LEEUWIN, alongside Vuna Wharf, Nuku’alofa, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a breakfast for international dignitaries and members of the Australian community working and volunteering in Tonga.

Afterwards, at the Wesleyan Centenary Church, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended the Thanksgiving Service in honour of His Majesty King Tupou VI.

On Saturday 4 July 2015, at the Wesleyan Centenary Church, Nuku’alofa, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove attended the Coronation Service and Ceremony for His Majesty King Tupou VI.

Afterwards, at the Royal Palace, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended the Coronation lunch.

In the evening, at Masefield Naval Base, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended the Royal dinner.

On Friday 3 July 2015, at the Royal Palace, Nuku’alofa, Tonga, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove attended an audience with His Majesty King Tupou VI, at which the Governor-General was awarded the Grand Cross of the Royal Order of the Crown, and Lady Cosgrove was awarded the Grand Cross of the Royal Household Order of Tonga.

At the Ofa Tui’ Amanaki Centre, Tonga, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove as guests of the Secretary General, Tonga Red Cross Society, Mr Sione Taumoefolau, officially opened refurbished buildings which provide care for young children and adults with disabilities.
