At the Australian War Memorial, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the National President, Major Earle Jennings AM RFD (Retd), attended the Second National Service Scheme 50th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony at which Their Excellencies laid a wreath and the Governor-General delivered the keynote address.

On Sunday 28 June 2015, at Newcastle, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove visited the Fort Scratchley Historic Site.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended the Solemn Eucharist Choral Church Service at Christ Church Cathedral.

On Saturday 27 June 2015, at Waratah-Mayfield, Newcastle, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Patron of the Australian Men’s Shed Association, and Lady Cosgrove, opened the Waratah-Mayfield Multicultural Men’s Shed.

Afterwards, at Singleton, the Governor-General, as Patron of the Australian Men’s Shed Association, and Lady Cosgrove opened the Singleton Men’s Shed.

On Friday 26 June 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove hosted a morning tea for Open Gardens Australia.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted an afternoon tea for the Boys’ Brigade at which the Governor-General presented the Queen’s Badge to Mr Isaak Stewart, Mr William Yeo and Mr Joshua James Morris.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Geoff Brown AO.

Afterwards, at Parliament House, the Governor-General as Patron of SchoolAid, and Lady Cosgrove attended the launch of KidsGive #That’sNotFair campaign.

Later, at Government House, the Governor-General as Commander-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove hosted a Meritorious Unit Citation Investiture Ceremony for Task Force 66 and 1st Joint Movement Group.

On Wednesday 24 June 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received from His Excellency Mr Yogesh Punja, Letters of Commission accrediting him as the High Commissioner for the Republic of Fiji. The High Commissioner was accompanied by Mr Deemant Lodhia (First Secretary) and Mr Jonetani Tagivetaua (Second Secretary). The Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove also received Mrs Adi Melika Punja.
