On Tuesday 17 March 2015, at Gungahlin Homestead, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) as guest of the Chairman, Soldier On, Lieutenant General Professor Peter Leahy AC (Retd), opened the relocated Robert Poate Reintegration and Recovery Centre and National Soldier On Headquarters.

At Gungahlin Homestead, Crace, ACT, the Governor-General, together with Mr Hugh Poate and Mrs Janny Poate, opened the relocated Robert Poate Reintegration and Recovery Centre and National Soldier On Headquarters.

At Admiralty House, Sydney, NSW, the Governor-General received the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Excellency Mr Nguyen Tan Dung.

On Monday 16 March 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Senator for the Australian Capital Territory, Senator the Honourable Kate Lundy.

Afterwards, at the Commonwealth Club, Canberra, the Governor-General, as an Honorary Rotarian, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the Rotary Club of Canberra lunch where the Governor-General delivered the keynote address.
