On Sunday 22 February 2015, at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman of the Council for the Australian War Memorial, Rear Admiral Ken Doolan AO RAN (Retd), launched the re-opening of the ‘Australia in The Great War’ Gallery.

On Saturday 21 February 2015, at University House, Acton, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Vice-Chancellor of the Australian National University, Professor Ian Young AO, attended the Tuckwell Scholarship Commencement Dinner.

On Friday 20 February 2014, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, received the Australian Ambassador to Denmark, Norway and Iceland, Mr Damien Miller.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a ceremony, at which the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, invested Mr Stephen Brady AO CVO with the insignia of Officer of the Order of Australia

On Thursday 19 February 2014, at the Australian Human Rights Commission, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as guest of the Australian Race Discrimination Commissioner, Dr Tim Soutphommasane, opened the Australian Human Rights Commission Conference to mark the 40th anniversary of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth).

On Wednesday 18 February 2015, at Yarra Valley Grammar School, Ringwood, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Principal, Dr Mark Merry, officially opened the new Science and Mathematics faculty and later met with students and teachers.

Afterwards, at the Melbourne Town Hall, the Governor-General, as Senior Patron of the Royal Humane Society of Australasia, and Lady Cosgrove, attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General presented the 2014 Clarke Silver Medal to Mr Andrew Capper.

At the Y Water Discovery Centre, Yea, VIC, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Mayor of Murrindindi Shire Council, Councillor Margaret Rae, attended a community afternoon tea.

In Kinglake, VIC, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Co-Founders of Firefoxes Australia, Ms Jemima Richards and Ms Kate Riddell, attended a community event with local volunteers who were affected by the Kinglake fires of February 2009.
