On Wednesday 11 February 2015, at the Australian War Memorial, Campbell, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman, Rear Admiral Ken Doolan AO RAN (Retd), viewed the redeveloped First World War galleries.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Governor-General received the Ambassador to Kuwait, Mr Warren Hauck.

On Tuesday 10 February 2015, at the High Court of Australia, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Patron-in-Chief, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the Constitution Education Fund Australia reception, at which the Governor-General presented the Governor-General’s prize.

On Monday 9 February 2015, at Port Stephens Uniting Church, Salamander Bay, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Commander-in-Chief, attended the funeral service for the late Major Matthew Carr.

Afterwards, at RAAF Base Williamtown, Newcastle, the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief, received an operational brief from the Chief of Staff, Air Combat Group, Group Captain Robert Denney.

The Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief, meets personnel from No 77 Squadron during a visit to RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.

On Friday 6 February 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove received Brigadier Andrew Freemantle CBE (Retd) and Mrs Pat Freemantle; and Mr Robin Letts and Mrs Rachel Letts.

Later, in Deakin, the Governor-General, as Prior of St John Ambulance Australia, and Lady Cosgrove, officially opened the St John Ambulance Australia National Office.

On Thursday 5 February 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Chief Scout, and Lady Cosgrove, hosted an investiture ceremony to appoint Mr Christopher Bates as Chief Commissioner of Scouts Australia.

Afterwards, at the National Museum of Australia, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Director, Dr Mathew Trinca, viewed the Spirited: Australia’s Horse Story exhibition.

Later, at Government House, the Governor-General received the Captain of the ACT Brumbies, Mr Stephen Moore.

At Government House, Canberra, ACT, the Governor-General, as Patron and Chief Scout, invested Mr Chris Bates as Chief Commissioner of Scouts Australia.

On Wednesday 4 February 2015, at Sydney Town Hall, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended the State Funeral for the late the Honourable Tom Uren AC.

Afterwards, at Regatta Point, Canberra, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the 2015 season launch of the ACT Brumbies.

At the University of Technology Sydney, Ultimo, NSW, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chancellor, Professor Vicki Sara AO, attended the official opening of the university’s new business school, the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building.
