Later, at the Gallery of Australian Design, Parkes, Mr Bryce attended a meeting with the Governing Council and Exhibitions Advisory Group.

On Wednesday 13 April 2011, at Government House, Canberra, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received the Foundation Chair of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Canberra, Professor Barbara Norman, and the Executive Director of the Climate Change Institute at the Australian National University, Professor Will Steffen.

On Tuesday 12 April 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, the Honourable Chris Bowen MP.

In the evening, at the Canberra Business Event Centre, Regatta Point, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Marion Mahony Griffin lecture.

On Sunday 10 April 2011, at Retford Park, Bowral, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a lunch hosted in their honour by Mr James Fairfax AC.

On Saturday 9 April 2011, in Camden, New South Wales, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General officially opened the 125th Annual Camden Agricultural Show.

On Friday 8 April 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the First Assistant Secretary, North Asia Division, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr Peter Rowe.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Mr Jia Qinglin.

On Thursday 7 April 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chairman of Bethesda Children's Homes, India, the Reverend Dr R. Abraham, and the President of Heart for India, Mr Graham Hill.

In the afternoon, at the National Gallery of Australia, Parkes, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a reception at which the Governor-General launched Notebooks by Betty Churcher AO.

On Tuesday 5 April 2011, at Royal Far West’s Drummond House, Manly, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, attended a ceremony at which the Governor-General, as Patron, launched the Ronald McDonald House Charities’ first Australian Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.

In the evening, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a reception for participants of the 188th World Medical Association Council Meeting.

On Monday 4 April 2011, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received from Diabetes Australia, President, Ms Patricia McKenzie, and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Lewis Kaplan.
