80th Anniversary Armistice Remembrance Medal
The 80th Anniversary Armistice Remembrance Medal commemorates the 80th anniversary of the armistice which ended World War I. |
The 80th Anniversary Armistice Remembrance Medal was instituted to honour Australian veterans who survived to see the 80th Anniversary of the Armistice, and who have been a living reminder of that war for generations of Australians. All 71 surviving Great War veterans were presented the medal on Anzac Day 1999.
