80th Anniversary Armistice Remembrance Medal

The 80th Anniversary Armistice Remembrance Medal commemorates the 80th anniversary of the armistice which ended World War I.

The 80th Anniversary Armistice Remembrance Medal was instituted to honour Australian veterans who survived to see the 80th Anniversary of the Armistice, and who have been a living reminder of that war for generations of Australians. All 71 surviving Great War veterans were presented the medal on Anzac Day 1999.
