In the evening, at Admiralty House, Sydney, Their Excellencies hosted a reception for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, on the International Day of People With a Disability.

On Saturday 1 December 2018, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK AFC (Retd), Chairman of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra (CSO), attended the CSO’s Shell Prom Concert.

On Friday 30 November 2018, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Mr Steven Robinson, Ambassador-designate to the Republic of the Philippines, for a pre-posting call.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Andrea Faulkner, Ambassador-designate to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, for a pre-posting call.

Then, the Governor-General received Her Excellency Mrs Erica Schouten, Ambassador for the Kingdom of the Netherlands, for a farewell call.

On Thursday 29 November 2018, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Letters of Credence from Her Excellency Ms Betty Pavelich Sirois accrediting her as the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Ivica Glasnovic (Consul-General, Sydney), Mr Joseph Petric (Consul-General, Melbourne) and Ms Sandra Tvrtkovic (First Secretary).

On Wednesday 28 November 2018, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for the Life Education Foundation.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Senator the Honourable Marise Payne, attended the New Colombo Plan Awards ceremony at Parliament House.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a pre-interview dinner for Rhodes Australia-at-large candidates at Government House.

On Sunday 25 November 2018, at Royal Randwick Racecourse, Sydney, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended The Ireland Funds’ Australia Garden Party, as guests of Mrs Yvonne Le Bas, Chairman, The Ireland Funds Australia.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for the Cauliflower Club, at Admiralty House.

On Thursday 22 November 2018, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a ceremonial Welcome for His Excellency Ram Nath Kovid, President of the Republic of India, and the First Lady, Mrs Savita Kovind.

On Wednesday 21 November 2018, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Mr Peter Carrigy-Ryan, CEO, Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC), attended an end-of-year reception, at CSC Canberra.
