On Saturday 23 June 2012, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, the Honourable Warren Snowdon MP, attended a farewell dinner for the Bomber Command Commemorative Mission to the United Kingdom.
The Governor-General farewelled Australian veterans from Bomber Command who will attend a dedication ceremony for the Bomber Command Memorial in London on June 28.
